For our NieR:Automata shoot, we had two distinct concepts: a darker “BLACK” to reflect the devastation of the in-game world, and a crisp bright “WHITE” to show neatness.
2B’s composed coolness can be found in the BLACK concept with a 180 to brilliant smiles in the WHITE concept.

PROFILE
Born on May 30th in Hyogo Prefecture. Having been in a theatrical company since a young age, she has appeared in many stage shows and musicals. Transitioning to voice acting in 2007, she has since appeared in countless titles as a distinguished voice actress with prominent roles including 2B in NieR:Automata and Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan, among many more.

A Message from 9S’ Voice Actor, Natsuki Hanae
To commemorate the release of our NieR:Automata items, we’ve received a special message about our 9S jacket and shoes from 9S’ voice actor, the exceptional Natsuki Hanae.
── Please tell us your thoughts on the 9S (YoRHa No. 9 Type S) Model Jacket and Sneakers.
Although the jacket is stylishly subtle to not seem like a cosplay item, the design still fully captures 9S, which I think is wonderful. The distinctively 9S designs like the inside lining are also a great touch.
── What did you think of the 2B items worn by Yui Ishikawa?
Because the items had such an incredible aura, they also gave Ishikawa-san a different vibe from her usual self. She looked very cool in the items.
── What kind of character is 9S to you, Hanae-san?
This was my first time voice acting for a main character in a major console game, so it’s been a special experience. I feel like I yelled a lot when recording for the main game, which was fun despite being challenging. And then I thought there couldn’t really be more yelling than that, but then I had to yell more in the audio drama and orchestra concert...please, just give 9S a happy storyline from the start!
