SuperGroupies is releasing a number of collaboration items with Cowboy Bebop.

Cowboy Bebop is an original SF anime by the animation production company SUNRISE INC. Shinichiro Watanabe is in charge of directing, and Yoko Kanno is in charge of the music.

The story takes place in the solar system in 2071, where the planets are connected by warp gates. Spike (a former hitman), Jet (ex-cop), Faye (a mysterious woman with amnesia and huge debts), Ed (a genius hacker who acts like a wild child), and Ein (a data dog with human-like intelligence) are bounty hunters known as "Cowboys" who fly around the universe chasing criminals with bounties on their heads. The story depicts the strange communal life that the four of them and one dog lead on the spaceship Bebop, despite often running into mishaps leaving them without money.

It was broadcast on TV in Japan in 1998, and the theatrical version "Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door" was released in 2001. It won the Television Award at the 3rd Animation Kobe in 1998, and the Seiun Award (Best Dramatic Presentation) at the Nihon SF Taikai in 2000. It has been highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally. Netflixs announced that the live-action adaptation series will be released in 2021.
