• Watch face cutouts are designed to mimic a pixelated glitch effect
• Rotating on the layer beneath the dial is a 24-hour movement disc. One portion of the disc is emerald green. The disc completes one rotation every 24 hours, allowing us to see peeks of green through the watch face cutouts as if different glitches are happening throughout the day
• A music note is at 11 o’clock in reference to her passion for piano
• In the dark, a new side emerges: the strings of code use phosphorescent printing and give off a faint glow
• Case back is etched with the official Doki Doki Literature Club logo
• Circling the case back is a quote from talking with Monika in Act 3: “I can't help but feel a little sad sometimes...Knowing that this is the closest I can get to you.”
• Font used is Monika’s official handwriting font, Journal
• With this watch, no matter where or when, you can always think about Monika. Just Monika. OK?
