NieR:Automata is an action RPG published by Square Enix and is a sequel to popular titles NieR Gestalt/Replicant. YOKO TARO is at the helm as director and scenario writer.

The game takes place in the distant future where Earth has been taken over by invaders from another world and the human race has retreated to the moon. The story revolves around the fight of the human-made androids created as part of Project YoRHa to reclaim Earth against the machine army of invaders.

Its multiple-endings system featuring YoRHa, including 2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B),  9S (YoRHa No.9 Type S), and A2, has garnered a legendary reputation among scores of fans.
