This dignified jacket is inspired by Hajime Saito, the former Captain of the Third Unit of the Shinsengumi

• Overall design reflects Saito’s jacket as a special agent for the Meiji Government's Department of Internal Affairs, stylized for daily use and with a few details from his past Shinsengumi uniform
• Inside of both cuffs and the collar is jagged stitching reminiscent of the zigzag pattern from the traditional Shinsengumi uniform
• Original tag inside subtly refers to Saito’s headband worn as a member of the Wolves of Mibu. It features the Japanese kanji characters “悪即斬” (Aku Soku Zan, Slay Evil Immediately), the Shinsengumi code that he has lived his life by, in a dynamic design as if slashed by his sword
• SuperGroupies original lining design consists of a jagged pattern taken from the iconic Shinsengumi uniform sleeves, the Japanese kanji characters 零, 壱, 弐, 参, and 四 to represent the 5 variants of Saito’s deadly Gatotsu technique, and blood splatters for all the blood he’s spilled during his life as a hitokiri
