This dignified watch is inspired by Hajime Saito, the former Captain of the Third Unit of the Shinsengumi.
- Color scheme of a deep blue base with black & silver accents is reminiscent of Saito’s current appearance and past Shinsengumi uniform
- 2 subdials: Days of the week (12 o’clock) and Calendar (6 o’clock), with Japanese ancient numerals to faithfully represent the traditional Japanese & Meiji era setting
- Japanese kanji characters “悪即斬” (Aku Soku Zan, Slay Evil Immediately), the Shinsengumi code that he has lived his life by, are on the left side of the dial in a dynamic design as if slashed by Saito
- Jagged pattern at the bottom of the dial reflects the iconic sleeve design of the traditional Shinsengumi uniform
- The 5 variants of Saito’s deadly Gatotsu technique are featured as Japanese kanji characters at 12 (零式, Zero Shiki), 1 (壱式, Isshiki), 2 (弐式, Ni Shiki) , 3 (参式, San Shiki), and 4 (四式, Shi Shiki)
- Minute hand is directly modeled after Saito’s katana
- Crown is etched with the Japanese kanji character “誠” (Sincerity) which decorates the Shinsengumi flag
- Real leather strap will comfortably mold to your wrist the more you wear it
